When the calendar flips to September, Pensacola foodies start to drool like Pavlov rang a bell. Fall is packed with delicious food festivals. Here’s what’s ahead:

Taste of the Beach

Sip, savor and surf on Sept. 18 and 19 as Taste of the Beach returns to Pensacola Beach. Celebrity Chef John Besh is the special guest for this year’s festivities, which start with a Sept. 18 VIP event featuring tastings from six of Pensacola Beach’s top chefs and a demonstration from Besh. Tickets are $65.

The beachside events on Sept. 19 at the Gulfside Pavillion are free to attend, and include cooking demonstrations and competitions, tastings of specialties from Pensacola Beach restaurants for $5 or less per serving, a frozen zone, a football tent, a kids area and more. Besh will present a cooking demonstration and live entertainment is capped by an appearance by the Molly Ringwalds. Get tickets and more info at www.tasteofpensacolabeach.com.
