Alon Shaya — this year’s James Beard Award winner for Best Chef: South — has teamed up with Resy to bring his New Orleans Israeli concept, Shaya, to New York for two days. He'll cook family-style dishes like spiced lamb hummus with pine nuts and spicy chilies, and roasted cauliflower with whipped feta and black cumin on Friday and Saturday at 231 Mott Street. Tickets are available here, and prices range from $75 per person up to $125 for prime times.
